Veterans For Education is a new
club started by three dedicated students at Rutgers Camden.
Veteran For Education has Two Objectives:
1) To Provide a Positive Portrayal of Veterans
2) To Promote the Value of Education
As veterans and dedicated college students we can relate to
the challenges many men and women transiting from the military to academic
lifestyles are facing today. We hope to help fellow and future veterans in
their academic aspirations.
Veterans For Education Congressional Debate
Time: September 10th 2008 at 7p.m. Place: Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, NJ. 520 Jacksonville Road Mount Holly, NJ 08060
Veterans for Education will be hosting a Congressional Debate between Senator John Adler and Mayor Chris Myers. These candidates are campaigning for a position in Congress representing the third district of New Jersey. The third district of New Jersey has one of the highest concentrations of veterans out of any district in America. Both of these candidates are running on a strong veterans platform. With the recent deployment of over 3,600 New Jersey National Guard members and the ongoing wars
We would like to see every available person attend this event. These are important issues which veterans and families are dealing with on an everyday basis.
