NEWS 12 INTERVIEW

On Tuesday, March 25, 2008, News 12 interviewed Veterans 4 Education members regarding their thoughts on veterans' educational benefits. The members, Vincent Roettger, Efren Cazales, and Melinda Cobian, described their experiences with the G.I. Bill and the multiple problems they faced.

Vincent Speaks with News 12 regarding his concerns over 21st Century Bill Their stories of having to take out college loans due to the insufficient funding of the G.I. Bill are a reoccurring issue among college veterans.
A universal solution given was an increase of benefits through the 21st Century G.I. Bill. Efran speaks out regarding loans and a multiple of problems many veterans face
Melinda speaks with News 12 With the help of News 12, their stories, the growing concern of inadequate G.I. Bill funding, and the importance of the "The Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2007"will be brought to the public's attention.
